Being able to pre-book the taxis eliminated any language difficulties which would normally have occurred when trying to explain to ‘the man on the street’ where we wanted to go. Your superb service got our short holiday in Lyon and the Rhone valley off to a perfect start! After our flight time was changed, we had less than one hour from arrival at the airport to meet the rest of our tour party at 19.30h at the hotel (nearly 30km away).
You were waiting for us, helped us with our baggage, spoke very good English (much better than my French!), and drove safely and courteously in your comfortable vehicle! I'm really glad I took a couple hours out of my one-day business trip to explore Lyon with you, before being dropped off at Eurexpo, and I couldn't think of a better way in which to have done it. I was certainly the envy of all my colleagues at the trade fair who saw little more of Lyon than the airport!! My wife and I just returned yesterday from our Burgundy trip and I just wanted to let you know how very much we appreciated the service you provided in transporting us from St Exupery to the Villa Florentin.
I have now returned fro my trip and want to comment on the excellent service provided by Francois of Lyon Taxi Prestige. Francois was waiting for us upon arrival and as expected he helped us with our luggage from the arrival hall to the parking area. His "taxi" is a beautiful car with a full sky roof. Francois, who speaks very good English, was helpful with commentary on our way into Lyon, pointing out numerous landmarks on the way. Upon arrival at our destination, Francois presented us with the fare and it was actually less than the 60 Euros that he quoted us in our original correspondence. This price is the same as one would pay for a regular taxi and you dont need try and figure out where the taxis are or to stand in line to get one!
